Account Attributes
In booost Sustainability, the data access range and use of functions are controlled according to the user’s permission type. Only users with Overall Management Permission can add or edit accounts. Companies that can be viewed and edited can be added by permission role. Related guide: [booost GX] Add, Edit, and Delete Authority Roles
In booost GX, the data access range and use of functions are controlled according to the user’s permission type.
There is one account for each email address, but multiple permission accounts can be created within an account.
These are organized by use category as “For Login” and “For Permission Switching”.
*1. What is a role?
Within the scope of permissions, you can set range restrictions and permission levels (Edit / No Permission).
You can view a list, add, and edit on the Permission Role Management screen. For details, see[booost GX] Add, Edit, and Delete Authority Roles for an explanation.
By default, there are two roles that can restrict the range, “Own Company Only” and “Including Subsidiaries”. Administrators can also add other roles.
*2. What is a person in charge of input?
This is a user permission that allows input only for specified bases. On the Person in Charge of Input Settings screen, link the person in charge of input with the target bases for input.It can be used with the Base Input function. It cannot be used with the Starter Plan or Starter Plus Plan.
*3. What is an auditor?
This permission is intended for use when conducting audits by third-party organizations. Data cannot be updated; only input results and source data can be viewed.

As shown above, operation menus for which the assigned attributes do not have usage permission are hidden from the side menu.

Add an Account
Launch path: Side Menu > 【Setting】 > 【Account Management】 > 【List】
In the Account List, you can check the last login date and creation date for each account.
In Account Management, you can add and edit the following information.
・Email Address *Cannot be edited. Only when adding.
・Password
・Display Name (user name)
・Account Type
・Company Name
・Role
・Approval Permission
・Initial Display Screen
・Home Initial Display Country
・Home Initial Display Hierarchy
・Language
・Notification Email Reception Settings
To add an account, press “Add” on the Account List screen. Operations from “Add” create an account for login.
info Supplement
・Account creation, editing, and deletion can be performed by users with
Overall Management Permission.
・Press
this to output account information as a CSV file.
・When an added new user starts using the service, confirm that the client certificate has already been installed on the device.The
client certificate is provided by us when the booost Sustainability production
environment is provided. When an added new user logs in or changes devices,
the client certificate must be installed.
*However, depending on your subscription plan, the client certificate
may be omitted. Please check your subscription plan.
On the Add Account screen, enter the email address and press “Add”.
≪About Email Addresses≫
・Managed by booost Sustainability service (booost GX / booost Supplier / booost ESG, etc.).
・Only one login account can be registered for each email address. If duplicated, an error occurs (“This email address has already been registered”). There is no limit on creating accounts for permission switching.
・Email addresses cannot be duplicated within the same service, but can be registered in another service.
Enter and select all items in the displayed form.
When you press “Add”, the created account is displayed in the Account List.
<Description of Required Items>
・Email Address
Displays the entered email address as fixed.
・Password / Password Confirmation
Set any password chosen by the user.
Enter a password of at least 8 characters using a combination of at least two of the following.
Letters / numbers / symbols ($@!%*#?&_-) If the email address is registered as an account in another service, the password is shared, so the password item is hidden.
・Display Name
Set the user name as desired. If the email address is registered as an account in another service, it is shared, so the existing display name is shown on the screen.
・Account Type
Refer to “1.1 Account Attributes” in this guide and select the appropriate permission for the user.
★When selecting Individual Permission
Items for selecting Company Name and Role are displayed. Select the company name to which the user belongs from the list. For Role, select from “Own Company Only”, “Including Subsidiaries”, or “Role Name”*. The selected company name is displayed in the profile field. Select the permission role to apply from the list, and if the viewing/editing range is limited to the company to which the user belongs, select “Own Company Only”. If “Including Subsidiaries” is selected, an item for selecting whether approval permission is granted is displayed.
*Roles can be created as desired. The created role names are displayed as options. For how to create roles, see the guide below.

★For Person in Charge of Input
An item for selecting Company Name is displayed.
Select the company name to which the user belongs. The selected company name is displayed in the profile field.
★When selecting Overall Permission
An item for selecting whether approval permission is granted is displayed.
If you select “Individual Permission” and select “Including Subsidiaries” for the role, set Approval Permission. It is an optional item, but one option must be set.
Approval Permission means the permission to approve data entered by the person in charge of input in the 【Base Input】>【Approval】 function. If set to “Yes”, the user becomes an approver.
If the account type is Overall Management Permission, approval permission is necessarily applied, so there is no Approval Permission item. Approval permission cannot be granted when the role for Individual Permission is other than “Including Subsidiaries”, or to a Person in Charge of Input.

Depending on the permission, you can set the menu screen displayed immediately after login.

In “Dashboard > Home”, you can set the country to display initially.
If the same email address is used in another service, the common settings are applied,
and the contents are displayed.
・Home Initial Display Hierarchy *For overseas-compatible plans
In “Dashboard > Home”, you can set the hierarchy (display range) to display initially.
Select the hierarchy to display from the following.
World: The entire world is the display range.
Region: The regional range to which the selected country belongs is targeted.
(Example: If the initial display country is Japan, the region is Asia.)
Country: The country selected in Home Initial Display Country is targeted.
If the same email address is used in another service, the common settings are applied and the contents are displayed.
・Language
Select the language to use. If the email address is registered as an account in another service,
it is shared, so the existing settings are displayed on the screen.
・Notification Email Reception Settings
Notification emails are emails that notify related parties that actions such as return or approval request have been performed in the Base Input function. They are automatically sent to recipients based on the Approval Flow. If you do not use the Base Input function, either setting has no effect.
If you select “Do not receive”, the user will not receive any notification emails even if they are a recipient in the Approval Flow. Even if “Receive” is selected, the user will not receive emails if they are not a recipient based on the Approval Flow.
lightbulb POINT
・After creating or editing an account, please notify the user.
・There is no system notification function for account creation or editing.
Edit an Account
Display the Account List, hover over the account you want to edit, and press theEdit button displayed on the right. Press “Details” to check the current registered information.
In Edit Account, overwrite the items you want to edit and press “Save” to complete. The edited account is displayed in the Account List.
Email addresses cannot be edited.
If the user’s email address changes, create a new account and delete the existing account. For the contents of each item, seeAdd an Accountin this guide.
Create an Account for Permission Switching
There is one account for each email address, but multiple permission accounts can be created within an account.
These are organized by use category as “For Login” and “For Permission Switching”.
“Serving concurrently as an approver for multiple companies” or “Logging in with an Overall Management Permission account only when editing organization-related masters”
Use this according to practical use cases such as these. There is no creation limit for accounts for permission switching.
Launch path: Side Menu > 【Setting】 > 【Account Management】 > 【List】
Display the Account List, and from the menu (・・・) of the account you want to edit, select Add Permission for Switching.
When the Add Account screen opens, enter the information and press “Save” to complete creation of the account for permission switching.
If you check and enable “Display including permissions for switching”, [Use Category] is displayed in the Account List items.
How to Switch Use Category (Permission)
To switch the use category, select “Permission Switching” from the display name at the top right of the screen.
On the Permission Switching screen, select “Switch” for the permission to use, and the HOME screen is displayed with the permission after switching.
Delete an Account
Display the Account List, hover over the account you want to delete, and press theDelete button displayed on the right.
On the Delete Account screen, confirm the details and press “Execute Deletion”. This completes account deletion.
The account currently being operated cannot delete itself.
warning Caution
If you delete the account for login, all accounts including accounts
for permission switching are deleted.
